When students have access to books that are appealing and engaging to them, their intrinsic motivation to become life-long readers increases. Most of my students come from an area in which they do not have access to books at home. By increasing my classroom library, students will have contact with books that expose them to a variety of topics. "What Do You Do With an Idea?", "What Do You Do With a Problem?" and "What Do You Do With a Chance?" are all by Kobi Yamada and will inspire students to become creative thinkers, problem solvers, and risk takers. By instilling great reading habits in young minded friends, students will become lifelong readers!
