If this project is fully funded the money will be used to buy materials that move (Hands-on in teacher speak), enabling all the students, even the non-English speakers and those that have a difficult time with paper and pencil activities, to keep on learning. The children use their hands to learn not just their brains. When they use their hands they are better able to teach each other without a language barrier. When children talk with their hands they all speak the same language. This funded project will let ALL my students start out the year working together. Thank you!
