All of the students who spend most of their time working on something to publish, always want to display their work. As we dive in the curriculum, their is always modeling, shared and independent writing. We've had three different pencil sharpers because the kids use them as they are working and they are adjusting to using a pencil in second grade. I take time modeling and sharing with the students so we need markers that will last. Variety of colors help as technical assistance when looking at the different parts of speech. There is lots of practice in second grade.
