These non-fiction articles will provide my students with an additional opportunity to read engaging texts. Scholastic News magazines will allow students to read digitally and print texts while appealing to their interests. This resource for my second-grade students will create excitement in my classroom and will foster rich discussions. They can use the online and print resources weekly which will give them exposure to informational text, which is a huge need for my students. This will be beneficial for both their reading and writing skills. "The more you read, the more things you will know...the more that you learn, the more places you'll go." -Dr. Seuss
