Currently, my students are often grouped with one another without a place to conference with a teacher. By supporting this project students will have an area to sit and practice with a teacher. With a U shaped table, every student has an important seat at the table. Students can practice right on the table by using their own dry erase spot and their own eraser. Adding a literature organizer will help keep students organized. For example, when students are demonstrating their learning on paper but are not quite finished they may store it in their own mailbox. With chart paper, students and I will create posters for them to take ownership of their learning.
