Providing students with the supplies they need at a Title One School to be successful as a first year teacher has been tough. I have opened my last box of tissues. With teaching three different first grade classes, there is always a need for tissues due to runny noses and allergy season. Along with that, lysol wipes are a must to keep the desks clean and to prevent germs from spreading. My curriculum requires me to make several anchor charts. In order to provide these for my students and make them fun and engaging, I use the Mr. Sketch Markers. Of course, my students also need pencils and erasers to complete their assignments. Being that I teach about 70 first graders, we go through pencils and erasers very quickly.
