The Spheros are an awesome tool that has endless possibilities. Spheros add the perfect blend of robotics and technology that will help students’ imagination blossom into 21st-century thinkers.
I would like to begin using the Spheros with letter recognition. With the Spheros, students will use their artistic abilities to manipulate technology creating letter art. Students will learn about speed, the importance of precision all while mastering the alphabet.
Moving through the school year I would like students to use the Spheros to create mazes. As per California science standards, kindergartners will explore the push and pull objects have on each other. Students will be able to witness first hand how time, matter, and speed effect outcomes.
With Spheros possibilities are endless. I was lucky to work with borrowed Spheros last school year with the upper-grade students. The experience was exciting and rewarding! To see the students face light up with ideas and perseverance for the first time.
That is why I feel blessed to be teaching kindergarten, captivating student the students' imagination early on.
