A classroom rug is an essential part of a first-grade classroom. It gives the students a place to learn, meet and build community, explore different books, discover imagination, and have deep discussions. We are in need of a classroom rug for group work and whole group instruction. I have the best group of first-graders, who deserve to have the best learning environment possible. This rug will help to enhance our learning environment and create an interactive learning area for our classroom. A rug will provide the opportunity to comfortably learn, explore, listen, discuss, and provide a safe spot for the students.
