My students need the opportunity to move around the classroom and work in small groups. The flexible seating would allow my students to work comfortably and explore math in a safe risk-free environment. I believe having the flexible seats students will be excited to tackle the difficult math problems we face in 5th grade. Many of the students find it difficult to sit at a desk all day and need the option to move around the classroom. We often use small groups when working in math and these seats would make setting up small groups easier in the classroom.
