Advert listeners!!!!My students love being read to, but due to time restriction I can not always read to them as much as they or I would like. My students attend a urban, high poverty public school in New York. The majority of my students and well as the school population are Hispanics. They have very little opportunities to explore the world and by listening to stories on cassette or cd they are being exposed to a variety of fluent readers that are helping them explore the world through books on cd or cassettes.
