Every day room 213 works hard to build a kind and caring classroom environment in which all students can experience academic, social, and emotional growth throughout the year. We focus on the importance of creativity and problem solving to help us navigate through second grade challenges, and beyond. Many students in my classroom have experienced some form of childhood trauma, so my personal mission as a teacher is to make sure school is a reliable and safe environment where students can learn to succeed and move beyond the boundaries of their current environment. Thank you for helping introduce Scholastic News to our classroom, to broaden students' world view and inspire a love for learning.
