My students are at-risk middle school students that are over-age and at least two grade levels behind academically. They are students that have experienced very few successes in life. My students are motivated to learn and they want to experience success. They are hard workers that have been left behind and given up on, but I know and they know that with hard work and great determination, they can succeed. My class is an accelerated class, whose main purpose is to catch these students up to their grade-level and have them graduate from high school and college.
