This variety of seating will help my students during the school day. It will help them be engaged and focused. My students have a hard time sitting in regular chairs and need different options to help them. Flexible seating will teach my students responsibility because they will choose a spot in which they are comfortable and focus better on the content that is being taught. My students will get the opportunity to try out all of the seating choices to figure out which one best suits their bodies. The students will have rules in which they will learn and follow in order for them to use the items to its highest potential. I do allow my students to work around the room using clipboards, but I do not have any seating options for them, except small pillows for them to sit on. I am very excited for my students to have flexible seating as an option this year!
