My school was 6th only until this year, when we went to 6th-8th. The materials and equipment in this project would aid us in our units on cells, genetics and skeletal system. Students will be able to see microscopic organisms close up instead of just video. A skeleton will allow students to see bones in three dimensions. The photos will show kids what normal and abnormal x-rays look like. Many of my students are visual and kinesthetic learners, so anything they can look at will reinforce concepts. The things I put on my list were generated from questions students frequently ask in class.
