The supplies such as paper, pencils, folders, composition notebooks, and art supplies would make a difference because some students come from low poverty families. More then half of my students showed up to school without any school supplies. The supplies I requested would be use to help students get through the school year. Seeing other students come in with supplies put down those students who didn't have anything. Although the school supplies are severely needed, the playground toys such as football, basketball and jump ropes would be as exciting for my students. Everyday after lunch the children play outdoors where there isn't any playground equipment. The children normally run around or sit down because there isn't anything else to do outdoors.
