I want my students to have a classroom where a variety of book titles are available. I have a love for reading that I pour into my students. Reading is a joy and I want to encourage voracious reading appetites with rich- text print. I read to the kids and the kids read independently. I absolutely love being able to offer cross cultural and inspiring Growth Mindset picture books. Books, like Giraffes Can't Dance, and several of the Patricia Polacco books, give evidence and help connect students to a positive Growth mindset. We will be reading and writing literature responses to several of the books requested.
