I will be using the speaker to play students digital songs I have purchased. The songs teach yoga poses, cooperative games, breathing techniques, and mindfulness. I will use the scarves and beanie bags in conjunction with the music. Teaching through music and games has always been successful with my students. Through these fun activities, the children are learning and having fun at the same time. These mindfulness skills and peacebuilding songs translate into the students' everyday lives. They will have coping skills for anxiety, social skills for cooperation as well as fine and gross motor control. I know through music and mindfulness games my classroom will become even more peaceful. The children will feel relaxed and ready to learn.
