I selected a new rug for my classroom library. If a child wants to stretch out on their belly to do their work - they will be comfortable and clean. I selected bean bag chairs, which can be used in the library or in the large group area for students who have trouble sitting. I am hoping the wiggle stools will assist students that need to work at a table. They can wiggle, but still be at table height and stable enough to write. The ball chairs will help students to build core strength, while sitting at a table with a teacher or peers. All of these seating options will enable students to find the best solution for their bodies. Students don't typically get too many choices, so I think it's great if seating can be a choice.
