These hands-on math activities will help with strategic interventions. Students often have areas that need to be reinforced one-on-one or in small groups. Some students speak limited English and learn by hands-on activities rather than only listening or writing. When they can see and feel items to help understand math concepts, their eyes light up! These items would truly help young students gain an understanding of basic math concepts needed for a strong foundation and in the real world. I have limited items to work with and a deep desire to engage these students.

About my class
