I will begin my first year of teaching in August. I will be teaching at a Title I school in Oklahoma where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. I will be teaching fourth grade science on a rotating schedule so I will see about 24 students at a time in four different classes. Even though I have not met my students yet I know that fourth graders are creative, active and excited to learn new things. I know that they will love hands-on projects and activities to explore new topics in science. I want my classroom to become a place my students can come to learn and grow.
