The MakerSpace will serve as a physical space for students to be encouraged to think outside the box, be innovative, collaborate, take risks, and apply skills that will last them a lifetime! Students will get the chance to integrate these skills and hands-on learning as they deeply engage in science, technology, engineering, art, math, and tinkering. Students will have access to all different kinds of tools in the MakerSpace to create, design, invent, discover, and apply what they learn in the classroom. They will create or invent something with these tools to present at the Asheville Maker Faire in April. By donating to our project, you will help students to receive opportunities to learn skills that will prepare them for the future. Our students need hands-on, real world application, and a time to be creative!
