My students are reading below grade level. They receive a rules based instruction to learn how to read and spell words and carry these skills over when reading longer texts like chapter books or nonfiction articles. Reading is the foundation of all we do! Reading is not just going to help my students pass a class or a test, it's going to help them in the real world, no matter what they end up doing one day. Your donation will help provide my students with writing tablets, sand for kinesthetic activities, bingo and dice games, along with workbook resources to use for opportunities for my students to access their phonics instruction in interactive ways through multi-modality instruction.
