This school year, I am teaching students in grades k-2 with an array of special needs. In recent years, we have seen a drastic increase in the student's overall social emotional needs. Many students that we service and support have increased anxiety and have low self-managing & self-regulating skills. We strive to provide creative tools and strategies to help support our students both academically and social-emotionally. With your help, our students will have access to holistic-like resources to help improve their overall self-regulating skills & self-management skills in order to have a balanced and successful school year. Our room's capacity is approximately 8 people. Therefore there is very limited space & storage; however, we strategically planned our organization needs and decor to make our Resource Room a welcoming & safe place that we like to call our "second home" to our scholars & colleagues.
