“When are we ever going to use this? Why do we need to know this?" These are the questions that plague middle school math teachers on a daily basis! Utilizing Scholastic Math Magazine will enable my students’ inquisitive minds to piece together how math can be applicable in practical circumstances. My goal with Scholastic Math is a not only to expose my students to a great resource that will connect multiple subject areas to their mathematical learning, but also to help boost their math confidence and motivate them to fully apply themselves on a daily basis. Scholastic Math Magazine will help my students to become successful, independent learners.
