I'm developing a classroom library where students can browse titles by genre and find books that will spark imagination, deepen knowledge, and expand horizons for the future. From Frankenstein to Fault in Our Stars, this wide variety of novels will be a wonderful starting point in building a collection of literature worthy of my students. Students will be able to check them out of our classroom library to be read as independent reading assignments. I believe access and guidance are the starting point in helping any reader find their footing in the world of literature. As a teacher, my responsibility is to direct students to books that will open their minds to the unlimited potential they have as learners.
