I have recently made the switch from Kindergarten back to my first love, Second Grade!! I am beyond thrilled, and this past year was a dream come true! With that said, however, I am always looking for new and creative ways to make my classroom the most exciting, welcoming, functional, and SAFE place for my students. This year, I want to begin my transition to flexible seating. The reasoning behind this is that our room is quite small, so traditional desks tend to make the room feel cramped and, at times, slightly uncomfortable. I would ultimately like to have all these new items brought into my classroom so that students can have the option to break away from the "norm" by moving freely and comfortably around the space...all while having fun learning!
