Where do you like to sit and focus? Where do you learn best? Some days you want to sit in a group, and other days you want to be by yourself. That's how my students feel. Student focus and engagement can be affected by emotions as well as environment. These requested activity tables will play an important role in classroom dynamics and help enhance the students' learning. The tables will give them opportunities to discuss the latest chapters and plot developments with their book club. Students can help edit each other's writing and collaborate on science observations and projects. Students benefit from flexible seating choices. Having a choice in seating empowers them to play an important roll in the classroom environment. With your support, we can have a more collaborative and flexible classroom.
