These materials will be used to create independent learning centers that can be used across the curriculum so that the teacher can be free to lead interventions groups. My students are about 6 months behind and are not ready to sit and focus on academics. These centers will help them learn independently as they move around the class. The materials have been selected carefully to create engaging learning centers. Each center has been carefully selected to help students build their knowledge in reading, writing, and math. Students will be able to choose a center or two, which will help them continue to enjoy independent learning time. The best way for students to learn is through play. Increased opportunities for learning through engaging play allow students to become successful leaders as they learn to make good choices during center time. This project will help enrich my students learning experiences as they become life long leaders in my classroom and beyond.
