Students spend a lot of time sitting. Sometimes they sit on the floor and sometimes they sit at desks. Yet, sitting is not always the most comfortable way to learn. As a learner, I often lean back or sit at the front edge of my chair. Students should be comfortable while sitting and learning. Wobble stools are designed to reduce muscle fatigue from sitting too long while providing core stimulation. Active students sit on wobble stools and have to balance helping create greater focus and attention on classroom task and conversation. In my classroom, students will have the option to sit in traditional chairs or on wobble stools while we learn from one another.
