Education is requiring more and more use of technology in the classroom, and we are in need of laptops. My 5th grade students are preparing for middle school and need to become familiar with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. When they are ready to publish essays, they take turns on the 3 computers we currently have. If we added 4 more laptops in our classroom, we can cut publishing time in half and move on to the next assignment. In addition, the English Language Learners and ESE students benefit significantly from spending time on assigned computer programs that help them reach their potential. Laptops will be used daily by all students, and our class will greatly appreciate your donations.
