The students in my class have special needs. This items will help to make the classroom comfy and inviting for learning. Although seating is provided by the school, allowing students the opportunity to work on comfy pillows and on a spacious rug creates a more flexible environment will encourage them to put forth their best effort when working. I believe that creating an environment that is appealing to the senses as well as cater to the sensory needs of the students will help to minimize negative behaviors and foster morning positive learning outcomes. I want my student to love coming to school to learn.
