I need help with supplying my students with basic art supplies to last them through the school year. I work for a Title I school where all of the students qualify for a free breakfast/lunch program. Lack of resources is a huge challenge in the art room where our learning comes through hands-on creation. Donations will make a huge difference in not only supplying some basic art supplies, but also supplies that will be used for cross-curricular connections to social studies that I am basing my curriculum around. Students will be making connections to their social studies curriculum through the regions, cultures and time periods they are studying. For example, my 5th grade students will be creating Native American inspired pottery with the Sculpey Terra Cotta and my 6th grade students will be using the Yupo Watercolor Paper to create Japanese lanterns. These unique materials will be very exciting for my students. Thank you for supporting my classroom and giving my students the opportunity to express their creativity!
