The materials that I am requesting will get used daily in our station-centered classroom. Our classroom is designed in a way in which students complete a circuit of stations all aimed at giving students multiple opportunities to discover new content. One of the most valuable stations is what we call “teacher table”. The table and stools will give all students an opportunity to get an up close, hands-on, authentic scientific learning experience. At “teacher table” a small group of 4-6 students works with me to explore new concepts. This table will allow me to work with more students at one time, as well as giving students an opportunity to learn from their peers.
