Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times, they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. The wobble chairs, balance balls and the folding lazy sofa would be great ways to help the children with the different sensories they need to help them learn the best. The balance boards and climbing rope are also a great tool for our sensory room to help the kids get out any anxiety or energy to keep learning. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Along with the flexible seating, sensory items for my students will help them be able to calm down and release energy so that they are able to come back to the classroom and get the most out of the lesson being taught.
