My students come from different cultural groups, most of them begin Kindergarten with limited knowledge and skills because of language barriers. Getting them interested in learning about counting and writing numbers can be a challenge. Students need a light board to light up their learning. Using counters, shapes, numbers, and any transparent objects, my students would get excited about math and learning. It can also be used throughout the day with Language Arts and other subjects. I want to encourage writing also. Many students need practice writing letters and numbers. I want my students to be successful in Kindergarten. The foundation determines how big a house they can build using their minds.
