My students are 9th graders functioning on various reading levels. I teach everything from basic class to 'super' honors. Though I may go into the school year thinking that the 'super' honors will out perform the other classes, I am always surprised how my basic classes raise the bar for themselves. Our school is a very strict school with a good deal of structure and parent involvement. I often times have 80-90% of my parents' emails! Fantastic! So easy to keep in touch. Unfortunately, our budget is not always the best and we must improvise. Luckily, my students are always so grateful for any new twist I can put on an assignment.
