My scholars have a love for reading and want to learn more about the culture around them and explore the different cultures outside of their environment. They clamor for books beyond our required reading books and have begged to have an in-class library. With the books on this list my scholars will be able to expanded their knowledge and apply this new knowledge in their everyday life in and outside the classroom. Books provide my scholars the opportunity to explore the world outside their life without leaving the comforts of their reading corner. The book shelf will provide a safe place my scholars books and teach them how to organize books by genre, interest, or reading level.

About my class
