These materials will make a difference because it is a variety of books that were chosen. Some students may not like to read but if they notice there is a book about something they like, they will be eager to grab a book. They will be able to complete book reports about what they read. This will teach them how to improve their handwriting and comprehension levels while reading. They can share their report with their peers as well. My students get excited about sharing whatever is going on in their life. Now imagine their enthusiasm when it comes time to tell about a good book. I encourage them to read at least 30 minutes per day. This class library will be a great addition considering they can read in comfort at the reading lounge versus the library. After all, reading is truly fundamental.
