In this day and age with technology rapidly advancing, kids are lacking social and emotional skills along with imaginations. My desire and use for these costumes is to create a wonderful Dramatic Play Center for my students to use their imaginations and dream about what they want to be when they group up. I want them to learn to pretend and create their own learning through the Dramatic Play Center. They are only young once, I want them to play and not be consumed with technology. We have to remember that they are 4 and 5 years old and need to play because that is how they learn and grow. I do not want my students to miss out on social and emotional skills as well as having an imagination.
