In Pre-K, a classroom rug is essential for learning. This classroom rug will house us during community circle, centers, and our group instruction time. We will do our daily read aloud in this space, in addition to our provocations for the day. During these times, I will build strong relationships with my students, and them with each other. Our classroom rug will help us to build community - It allow will us to come together in one space, that is clearly defined for children. It will help us talk about how to love ourselves, love our neighbors, and how to love our community.
