Many students want to succeed but can't afford the simple supplies to make that happen. Most parents work hard to put food on the table and roofs over their heads for their children. School supplies are more likely than not to be put on the back burner and forgotten. My goal is to take the load off of parents and students when starting the new school year. Simple supplies make big differences. Glue sticks will be used to paste foldables and interactive notes into journals. Pencils and colored pencils alike will give students a way to keep track of notes and what they are learning. Whether it's cutting, gluing or just listing these supplies will help students feel prepared as soon as they enter the classroom. No longer do parents need to feel like they aren't doing enough for their child. Students can be ready to learn and know they are supported all along the way. Equipping and empowering individuals is what my project is all about.
