My students are engaging and energetic. They love to listen to stories and use their hands. They attend a Title One school in the city that has about a 90% free and reduced lunch rate. However, don't let the income rate lead you to stereotypical thinking; my students are very intelligent and have a variety of dreams. When asked why they want to go to fifth grade and beyond, the responses included to become a veterinarian, chemist, police men and women, teacher, doctor and much more.
