Today’s technology has so much to offer to students. My second graders all read and do mathematics on different levels. The iPads will allow my students to get the extra support and enrichment that is needed by using the many educational apps that are available! I will be able to do enrichment activities with my high students, provide on-level daily practice, small group rotations and allow my lower students to have one-on-one individualized practice in an area that they need in reading and math. We will be excited to have iPads to call our own to use in our second grade classroom! Technology in the classroom isn't going to disappear anytime soon, so being able to introduce them to things they can do to learn and enhance their learning at an early age will help them later on in life!
