My goal is to give my students more flexible seating options. There is definitely a time and place for structure, and anyone who knows me knows that I like to have things organized and in order. However, nine and ten year olds can't help but fidget and there is just no way around it! I like to have different seats so that students can find a place that works best for them. I've been really impressed with their ability to recognize which seats help them focus and which ones are more of a distraction. I love to empower my students to make choices whenever possible! I have loved having flexible seating so far, but I am always looking for more options. I've done my best to provide different types of seats, but some things just fall too far outside of my personal budget. I would love to have these wobble stools for my particularly wiggly students.
