Amazon Fire Tablets make it easy to watch videos that are relevant to what students are learning in the classroom. Teachers can use tablets as a classroom management tool, such as offering game time as a reward. Plus, teachers can use timer apps and noise level apps for more classroom management help. Students need to be prepared for a 21st-century workplace. I must create lessons that use tools which will positively influence my student's ability to enter a digital world. My overall goal while using these tablets is for my students to sharpen reading, writing, research, and collaboration skills. With these abilities, students will not only thrive in a Social Studies classroom but in all of the there classes!
