Why do I need to learn this stuff? That's a popular question in every class. Students in the quantitative literacy math class will apply their math skills and concepts to participate in the Stock Market Game. Students will collaborate to participate in the year long Stock Market Game. As they invest in stocks, bonds and mutual funds they will also be applying skills in percentages, ratios, basic computation, saving and invest and much more. Students will learn research skills and also tune in to the market to tell just how relevant these issues are to success in the market today.
