My project includes a document camera and personal primary journal for each individual child. Students learn best by seeing and then doing. Teaching writing to 6 years old is a difficult task to begin with but without a document camera it is almost impossible! By having a document camera students will be able to watch me or a classmate write on the SmartBoard. This helps students to gain confidence in themselves before going to their seats to work independently! This document camera will be used in all subject areas! These resources and tools will ensure that these 30 1st graders take their writing skills to the next level!
