It is so important for students to read independently. Some students love to read while others students do not enjoy reading. I chose high interest books for this project in order to reach all students, even the students who do not necessarily like to read. I have found in my years of teaching if you give a student a book that holds their interest and is at a level in which they can read-they'll read. By donating to this project, you will not only help to foster a love for reading, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

About my class
