This is my fifth year as a teacher and I am so excited to teach Kindergarten. I want to make sure my students have plenty of books to choose from when it comes to story time, read aloud, and learning to read. I chose books that are classics from when I was a child and also books that I know my kids will love during story time. A classroom rug will help with my everyday lessons and keeping the students engaged during learning time. I do most of my teaching with my students in front of me on the floor and this is a great way to keep my students engaged as well as helping them stay on their own spot during learning. It can be overwhelming your first year in a new classroom, I want to give my kids a bright classroom with learning opportunities at every turn!
