Reading activities and games make learning fun for students. With these resources, my students will be able to continue working on skills they are struggling with in an enjoyable and engaging way. We will use the white boards and magnetic letters to practice writing in full sentences. Frequently used sight words can be displayed on the magnetic board for quick reference when writing as well. I plan to use the games in small group instruction and during individual work on a daily basis. During our lessons we read a new book every day and are constantly learning new words, and working on unfamiliar or difficult skills. It is important that the students are truly remembering and becoming familiar with the high frequency and sight words used. With fun activities like fishing for words, it will be a way for students to remember these words and quickly review them at the start of each session.
